You can use most any measure
When your're speaking of success.
You can measure it in fancy home,
Expensive car or dress.
But the measure of your real success
Is the one you cannot spend.
It's the way your kids describe you
When they're talking to a friend.
Feb. 2008, I decided to stop being lazy and start working out. I was doing great. I went from 186 pounds to 173 lbs and counting within a month. I was hitting the gym hard and eating healthy. Well March 27, 2008 I found out I was pregnant with my beautiful son. I actually did great during my pregnancy but only because they put me on a 1500 calorie diet. After having my son I lost all the baby weight and more within one month. Then the story changed. Being a first time mom, I let everything get to me. My son was going through different things all scared the living crap out of me! Well, I am a stress eater, so I ate my way through all the scares! Now I'm at the point where I need to give this stress to God because if I don't it's either going to kill me or make me very unhappy with myself like it's doing now!
So I decided to join Weight Watchers. I joined WW back in Feb. 2009 but I have not stuck with it like I should. Like I said, I let stress get in the way. Then one day while on the WW site, a lady on there made a comment. She said she knows the secret to sticking with the WW program. The secret is making a quote, a saying, something that you can say to yourself everytime you feel the need to quit or cheat. At first I thought that was stupid! Until one day as I was driving home, God said to me, "Your quote is going to be "Do I want KJ to have a dead mommy"." That struck me hard! I never thought of that! Right then I realized I needed to stop and wake up!
Again while on my WW website, another group of people decided to make a website that they post to all their friends which makes them have to stay on track! So I decided to do the same.
So here is "My Journey to Success!"
